Davina Bell is an Australian author of books for young people of all ages, from babies to teens. For over fifteen years, she worked as an editor, commissioning editor and publisher at Penguin Books, Affirm Press, and Allen and Unwin respectively. Some of Davina’s much-loved titles include All the Ways To Be Smart, All of the Factors of Why I Love Tractors, and What To Say When You Don’t Know What To Say. She is a two-time winner of the Australian Book Industry’s Picture Book of the Year, and her debut Young Adult novel won the Children’s Book Council Book of the Year for Older Readers as well as the New South Wales Premiers Literary Award for Young People’s Literature. Her work is published around the world and has been translated into over twenty languages. Originally from WA, she now lives in Melbourne, where she writes full time and wrangles a toddler, both of which require a lot of good coffee.
