We can accept cancellations and provide refunds up to four weeks before the commencement date of the course.
If you need to cancel less than four weeks but before five working days prior to the course commencement date, we will do our best to find a replacement and, if we succeed, the balance of your fee will be returned less a $100 administration fee.
If you need to withdraw less than five working days before the course commencement date there will be no refund or credit.
If a replacement is unable to be secured, at the discretion of Faber Writing Academy, a credit may be issued to the equivalent value of your course payment. This must be used within a twelve-month period.
No refunds will be issued to students who miss individual sessions or do not complete the course.
By paying a deposit and securing your place on a course with a payment schedule, you are committing to attend the course for its full duration, and are liable to pay the full course fees as outlined in the payment plan in relation to the course. If for any reason you decide to leave the course once it has commenced, you remain liable for the full fees in relation to the course.
Please note in the event of unforeseen circumstances, courses – including tutors and venues – may be subject to cancellation or change. We reserve the right to make changes to courses but will always endeavour to replace tutors with someone of equal experience and standing. On rare occasions it may be necessary to cancel a course; in this instance we will return all fees paid but cannot cover travel or other costs incurred.
We cannot accept responsibility for any loss, damage or expense sustained by students as a result of an event or circumstance whether arising from natural cause, human agency, or beyond our control otherwise.

Please note that classes held at the Allen & Unwin buildings in Sydney and Melbourne are only accessible via stairs.
