The Faber Writing Anthology is a showcase of student work that is distributed to agents and publishers in Australia and the United Kingdom. Participants in our intensive courses are invited to contribute.
Under the management of Rowena Tuziak, Faber Writing Academy’s Marketing Manager, the 2026 Faber Writing Anthology will include submissions from students from the following courses: Writing a Novel (Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Online); Writing a Speculative Fiction Novel; Writing a YA Novel, and Writing Creative Nonfiction.

As well as presenting writing that has been polished and refined through study and workshopping, the Anthology serves as a directory of emerging writers, facilitating direct communication between Faber Writing Academy alumni and agents and publishers who are interested in their work.
For 2026 anthology editions onward, students will have up to 3 years from graduation to submit to make certain their manuscripts are “submission-ready”. This ensures that students are in the best position to represent their work to agents and publishers.
Our Faber Writing Anthology is highly respected in the industry. Marina de Pass of Soho Agency in the UK shared this with us:
‘I represent two of your talented alumni – Ali Lowe and Jessica Mansour-Nahra – and have had real success in breaking out debuts over the last years. I love working with new writers and have found the quality of Faber Writing Academy’s anthologies to be at such a high level. It is a thrill when a new one lands in my inbox.’
