In this special Writing a Novel taster workshop, join our Writing a Novel (Sydney) tutor Kavita Bedford for a two-hour writing class, followed by a discussion on what to expect from the Writing a Novel program and your inclusion in the Faber Writing Anthology.

For one day only, join author and Writing a Novel (Sydney) tutor Kavita Bedford (Friends and Dark Shapes) for an introductory workshop, in which we showcase the workshop-led teaching style at Faber Writing Academy. Afterwards, join us for light refreshments as Kavita answers your questions about the Faber Writing Academy experience, including topics covered, the guest speakers you might encounter, how the Faber Writing Anthology leads students to success, and how your tutors will help you get as close as possible to finishing a draft of your manuscript across the year.

Join Kavita Bedford for a deep dive into voice and style to give you a taste of what our longer Writing a Novel (Sydney) class will be like.

Enjoy tea and nibbles, mingle with fellow attendees and staff and ask any questions you may have about novel-writing, our Faber Writing Anthology, the industry connections we offer our students, or any other aspect of the program as a whole.
