Securing a literary agent is often an important step towards publication, with an agent acting as an intermediary between writer and publisher. But how do you know if you’re ready to submit your manuscript to an agent for consideration? It is hard for any writer to know if their work is really ready – an opinion from an expert is invaluable.

This is a past course.

In this unique opportunity, you will be given feedback on your work and whether your manuscript is sound for submission. You’ll also have the chance to discuss where your work fits into the current marketplace and be able to consult with a leading literary agent about what your next steps should be.

In addition, on completion of this meeting, you will receive a professional copy-edit on your submitted work from a Senior Editor, which will not only help improve your copy but give you an insight into how the editorial process works for books heading to market.

There are strictly 7 appointment times available on the half hour between 10am and 2pm. Book soon to avoid disappointment.

Jacinta’s expertise is in the areas of quality commercial fiction and non-fiction including memoir, biography, history, politics, current affairs. She is not able to offer feedback on poetry, short stories, self-help, speculative fiction or horror.
