For one night only, Rebecca Giggs, Deborah Robertson and Patti Miller will discuss the ins and outs of writing nonfiction – including essay, memoir, biography, reportage, experimental approaches and life writing.

Rebecca will talk about her online program Writing Creative Nonfiction, Patti Miller will discuss her Writing Memoir course, while Deborah will speak to her Melbourne-based, and now also online, program Writing the Creative Nonfiction Book.

Together, they will highlight the type of texts you might be reading, the guest speakers you might encounter, and how they will help you get as close as possible to finishing a draft of your manuscript across the year.

This is an extremely rare opportunity to spend an hour with some of Australia’s most exciting writers. Come prepared with questions you’ve long wanted to ask about studying nonfiction writing! Places are free.
