We are excited to confirm two wonderful guest speakers, writer Trent Dalton and publisher Aviva Tuffield,  who will be joining Kristina Olsson when she teaches our inaugural Writing a Novel program.

We are delighted that Trent Dalton (Boy Swallows Universe and All Our Shimmering Skies) will be joining, Kristina to talk about writing his recent bestselling novels.

Aviva Tuffield, publisher at the University of Queensland Press, will also join the class during Stage 1 to provide an important connection to the industry, talking about her career supporting and publishing authors across Australia.

Writing a Novel with Kristina Olsson, starts in Brisbane on 2 March 2021 and will be live at Avid Reader Bookstore.

Applications for Writing a Novel in Brisbane are currently open. Faber Writing Academy will conduct speed assessments on the applications for this course over the next two weeks – meaning we will reply to you in 2-3 business days about the outcome of your application.
