Rhett Davis is the author of two novels, Arborescence and Hovering. Hovering won the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for an Unpublished Manuscript in 2020 and was shortlisted for the Readings New Australian Fiction Prize and the Aurealis Award for Science Fiction. Arborescence was shortlisted for the Aurealis Award for Science Fiction and longlisted for the Indie Book Awards. He has an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia and a PhD from Deakin University. He lives, works and writes mostly on Wadawurrung country in Geelong.
