Anwen Crawford is a Sydney-based writer, critic and visual artist. She is the author of No Document (Giramondo, 2021), shortlisted for the 2022 Stella Prize, and Live Through This (Bloomsbury, 2015). In 2021 she won the Pascall Prize for Arts Criticism for her music writing in The Monthly, and her essays and criticism have appeared in a wide range of publications including The New Yorker, The White Review, Frieze, Sydney Review of Books, Best Australian Essays and Australian Book Review. She is a zine maker and has also co-curated film programs for the Art Gallery of NSW and Metrograph cinema, New York.
